Following the announcement made by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that it is conducting an investigation into “what appears to be an attempted assassination” on former President Donald Trump, lawmakers from nationally and locally expressed their thoughts.
The muzzle of an AK-style rifle was found peeking out of a bush on a golf course at Mar-a-Lago, which is President Trump’s private club in Palm Beach, Florida. The discovery was made by an agent of the United States Secret Service.

In addition, Harris claimed that violence had no place in the United States of America, a sentiment that was echoed by Harris’ choice for vice president, Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota.

JD Vance, who was Trump’s choice for vice president, expressed his happiness and gratitude for the fact that Trump is safe in a tweet on X. The Nevada Republican Party issued a statement on its X account, said.
