Wet your hands with clean, cold or warm running water.
Use soap to clean your hands. It does not matter if the soap is bar, liquid, or foam.
When you rub your hands together, make sure to scrub the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails. Scrub for at least twenty seconds more.
To get rid of all soap and dirt, wash your hands well under running clean water.
Air dry your hands or use a clean towel. If you use a towel, make sure it is clean.
It would be best if you used a towel to close the tap. If not, do not touch the tap with clean hands. Instead, use your elbow or another part of your body.
To keep from spreading germs, try not to touch your face after washing it.
