A missing newlywed nurse has been found dead – and her neighbor arrested

Police have caught a neighbor of a nurse who went missing in Oregon three days after she was reported missing. The nurse had just gotten married.

A 32-year-old nurse named Melissa Jubane was reported missing on Wednesday after she didn't show up for her morning shift at the Providence St.

The Beaverton Police Department said in a Facebook post Saturday morning that her coworkers, friends, and family were becoming more worried.

The post says that police looked all over her Beaverton flat but couldn't find her. "Her lack of communication was seen as strange and concerning."

"During the day, police and Melissa's family tried to call her but couldn't because her phone seemed to be turned off,"

It said in the post. "Also, searches of Melissa's bank and credit card records turned up no new clues about where she was."

The suspect is being held at the Washington County Jail, and he or she may be charged with second-degree murder.

What did Providence Health & Services, the company that runs the hospital where Jubane worked, say about her death? They told CNN.
