Gnocchi is easy to create using mashed potato, flour, and egg. My family has used this recipe for decades.
– 3 medium russet potatoes, scrubbed– 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting– 1 large egg– 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Ingredient
1
Get the items together. Sprinkle salt on the potatoes in a big saucepan and add 2 inches of water to cover them.
Instruction
2
Bring to a boil over high heat. Then lower the heat to medium-high and let it simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, without stirring.
3
The vegetables should be soft but still hard. After you drain the potatoes, put them back in the pot for 5 to 10 minutes to dry out and cool down a bit.
