This milkweed grows in sandy or rocky soils. It thrives in poor soil but is versatile.

6-8 weeks before last frost, start seeds indoors. Plant seeds after 24 hours of soaking. Seed in seed-starting mix and lightly cover with soil.

Planting

Water plants regularly without flooding. Once established, Whorled Milkweed is drought-tolerant, so do not overwater.
