Keema Biryani Recipe

Keema lovers will love this biryani. This biryani recipe is delicious with basmati rice, minced mutton, yoghurt, and whole spices!   

– 500 gm basmati rice – 200 gm yoghurt (curd) – 1 teaspoon garlic paste – 2 green cardamom – 4 clove – 10 peppercorn – 1 teaspoon cumin seed – 2 teaspoon biryani masala powder – 1/2 handful coriander leave – 1 kilograms minced lamb – 1 teaspoon ginger paste – 1/4 cup refined oil – 2 star anise

Ingredient

In a pan with a thick bottom, heat the oil. In a separate pot, bring about 2 liters of water to a boil.  

Instruction

Sauté onions in oil till transparent, then add cumin seeds, peppercorns, green cardamom, cloves, ginger-garlic paste, and 2 tsp chilli powder.

Sauté 2 minutes, add minced meat, curd, and salt at taste. Sauté until water is absorbed and keema is 3/4 down.

When the water boils, add bay leaves, green cardamom, star anise, and salt to taste. After adding washed rice, drain the water with a sieve when 60% done.

Half-cover a large jug with rice. Top with keema, coriander, mint, masala, and green chilli achar.

For the best flavor, add the remaining rice, a little desi ghee, and brown onions, cover with a lid, and simmer for 20 minutes on low. Serve cucumber raita and enjoy.
